One of my ancestors was George Charles Jones, born Portsmouth 1870. At the time of the 1911 Census (Schedule 218) he was living at 39 Owen Street, Eastney, Portsmouth with his wife and six children. I have been unable to find out anything further on the family. Did any of the children marry and when did they all die?. I imagine the first port of call would be the electoral registers but as far as I know they are not available on line and I cannot get to Portsmouth. The common name of Jones makes it even more difficult. Can anyone help? |

It would be very helpful if you would copy the 1911 census info here with the names and ages of the children |

To make use of ER info - not online, as you say - you would have to know the addresses. |

I am sorry I did not give more details but all I had was from the 1911 census which Cathereine has given me. Up to now I have had too many possibilities to proceed with any confidence but thank you for the probable deaths of Alice and George which means i can now get death certificates to confirm that I am on the right track |
