I am trying to find any family of my father he was born in Pontypridd in 1917 on the 21st march he was called JOHN OWEN JONES. He came to live in Rishton dureing ww11 he met my mum, i dont know any think about his family can any body help a bit of a tall order

Maureen,this is the only one for 1917.
Parents had 6 weeks, (I think), to register the birth, so from the 21st march, registration could fall in this quarter.
If you get this certificate, and the birth date is correct, it will give you his parents names.
