I am looking for my uncle Edward Jones. My mother is his youngest sister Gladys. He was born in Brighton c.1929 to George Jones and his wife Ellen (nee Kirby). Other siblings are Amy, Rosetta, James, John, Anne and Ellen. Also half-brothers and sisters Mignonette, William, George, Nora and Mary. His mother died in 1932 and a lot of the children were sent to a childrens home (Warren Farm School, Woodingdean.) Went to Yorkshire as an evacuee and later joined the Navy. The family lost touch and as only four sisters now remain they would like to know what happened to 'Brother Ted'. |
