I've just seen a copy of a business / street directory for Whitehaven in 1864 and it confirms that my gggf lived and carried on business at Lowther street,in the town. I also noted two other kings for the same date and whilst I see they are not his children I wonder are they his siblings or other relations. The names are : Michael King, Mariner, 33 George street, Whitehaven. John King, provision dealer, 15 Chapel street, Whitehaven. |
