Has any one information about Frances King born approx 1810 in Preston Pucknell .I know she married a Barnard Cooper died in 1850 following birth of a baby .Found her on the 1841 census along with husband and several children.,as yet unable to find marriage 1st child Tamsin born in 1824 then 8 other children

Hi Doreen. I have found the following. Hope it is of help.

I.G.Index. Mormon site.
Barnard Cooper. Born 1892 Preston. Somerset.
died June 1864. Yeovil.
Wife Frances. Born 1806 Baptised 24.8.1806
Preston. Married circa 1824.
Children listed.
Tasmin. 1826
Josie 1827
Joseph 1831
Caroline 1833
George 1835
Hannah 1837
Robert 1839
Samuel 1844.

You need the parish records to get any further info of Barnard and Frances. If you go to search engine and oput in Somerset Family History Society, you should be able to get a contact details to find out if they have Parish records on line, or booklet form or even microfiche and CD's. With the info from the Mormon site it should give you a chance to trace them. Ethel.

There are at least 4 trees on ancestry with parts of this family, copious notes about Hannah who went to canada on one world tree.
