Ellen Louisa King born in 1866 to Samuel King, Horse keeper and Mary A King, at Maldon Essex. At the age of 17 she married John Highland [my grandfather] in Christ Church, Spitafields, 7th May 1882. They had three children Louisa Ellen Highland 1882 John Thomas Highland 1886 and Florence Highland 1888. Louisa Ellen Highland married in 1904, Frederick John Haines and went to Canada. My grand father went into a relatinship with a Louisa Copelin around 1892/3 and further children were born to that partnership. I have been unable to trace a Death Certificate in the name of Ellen Louisa Highland [nee King] in this country. Did she go to Canada with her daughter Louisa Ellen Haines [nee Highland}?
