Looking for a Martin J. KING.He was in Nottingham from around 1900 but it is believed that he came from somewhere in Ireland . He married an Elizabeth Ann TOMLINSON on 26/1/1901 at St Vincents R.C. Church Sheffield and his father was shown as James KING deceased. Elizabeth's father was John TOMLINSON and she was probably born in Lincoln in 1878. Martin KING died 6/8/1925 age 68 in Nottingham. According to his death certificate he was born around 1857 but from his age on his marriage certificate he was born about 1871. I have been unable to find Martin & Elizabeth on the 1901 census. Their daughter Elizabeth King born in Lincoln in 1903 was my children's paternal grandmother. |
