Calling all Kings or Fryers.... I am Leslie King. My Dad died when I was 10, and my Mum and I know very little about his family/relatives. His Dad was Sidney King and his Mum was Ada May Fryer. I believe that they were both from the Woolwich-Erith area (and I think I still have some "relatives" in the Erith area, although I am not clear about their relationship). I do not have any information about their dates of birth/death/marriage. The last time I discussed the family history with my Aunt (Dad's Sister), she didn't seem to know much more. It seems that Granddad was not very close to his family, and Nan died at quite a young age. I believe that Granddad was either an identical twin, or had 2 brothers who were identical twins. Because my Dad and his Mum both died at a young age, it is quite difficult to discuss family history without it seeming like an intrusion. Hoping that someone can help. Lez. |
