Robert Alfred LEACH (born c1835) married Elizabeth FLYNN (born 1837-9) in ROCHDALE. His family had originally come from Durham, hers from Roscommon, Ireland. He was a Primitive Methodist preacher. They had 10-20 children, including Robert Alfred Junior, Charles and George Ernest. I think the family may have been separated after Robert Alfred Senior's death. It's possible at least some of them may have been raised by Sarah Leach (born c.1836) in Wardle/Wardleworth, Rochdale. Elizabeth later moved to London with her youngest son, George. Does anybody have a link with any of these names as I'd love to learn the stories of their other children, or of Robert or Elizabeth's parents & family. |
