CLARA LEACH born circa 1874, died in Nottingham in 1958. Father Enoch or Enock Leach born Staffordshire 1854, mother Sarah A (nee James) born Staffordshire 1953. She had two daughters called Florence and Ethel and married a John Lamin in 1899. He died in 1902 and she married Albert Hunt that same year. They lived in the Meadows area of Nottingham and had 7 children: Eric born 1913 died 1997 married Ruth Vale Royce John (Jack who was a police officer) Clara (married Frank Ford) Reginald Stanley Edgar She had two sisters, Florence and Elizabeth. Florence married John Nicholls and went on to have several children, one of whom was Harry Nicholls who was the first man to receive the Victoria Cross in WW2 Any contacts gratefully welcomed |
