Ronald was married to Rosina Vickers & lived in Nottingham when my friend was born in 1944, but they were diivorced not long afterwards. brought up by his mother's parents, all paper trace of his father was destroyed & consequently knew nothing of his father apart from the only fact he knew & that he was an "AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER AIRCRAFT INSPECTION PILOT" & was based at Derby in 1944.His whereabouts after the divorce are unknown. At the time of the divorce,Ronald left his son a legacy; a scale model of the VICKERS WARWICK AIRCRAFT.My friends name is RAYMOND DONALD WARWICK LEE; his Mother's maiden name VICKERS. There is a possibility Ronald was from either london,where his family's solicitor was based, or Northampton where there is again the possibility that there is a connection with the shoe trade, either shop or factory on Ronald's Mothers side of the family. I would be very grateful for any info or link to help my friend find hi Fathers side of the family. Many thanx to those who read this. Pete
