Hi, I'm looking for any information on my Grandmother Elizabeth Hilda Lee, I know she was born in 1901, she was married to Wilfred Sayers on the 31st July 1920 at the register office in Houghton-Le-Spring, her residence at the time was in Sherburn Hill in Durham, her father was Lancelot Lee, I got this information from the marriage certificate that I got from Sunderland city council. Even though I have got this information, I can't find out when she died. I hope someone can help me with this, thanks.

Can you narrow it down all? She could have lived right up to the 1990's which could potentially mean a very ling trawl through the death indexes.

Thanks for the reply. The most I could narrow it down to is 1963 when my Mother was married, and Elizabeth wasn't at the wedding, so I know she possibly died before 1963, and I was born in 1965 and I never met her. hope this helps. Thanks.

I've checked back from 1965 to 1950 but found nothing on Elizabeth, sorry

Could Elizabeth Sayers have married again?

What happened to her Husband? Did he died before her?

Do you have any family events you can tie either of them 2 to?

Thanks for trying. I believe her husband outlived her, I don't know what happened to him, I know they were both 19 when they married in 1920 and my mother was born the following april. I don't know of any family events, sorry I don't know much about my mothers side of the family.
