Hi everyone,

Trying to find the following Lee's:

Clive - b1927
Gerald - b1929

Their parents were Stanley Lee (b1905) and Florence

Gerald worked for BP oil co and spent a long time in South America (but was always based in the UK) married to Karen and I think only had 1 child.

Clive was a sales rep in the Essex area and had 2 daughters (names unknown).

Barbara Lee (possibly born 1916/17) daughter of Leonard Lee and Charlotte.

Kathleen Lee daughter of Arthur C and Gladys (no dates here at all - sorry).

Stanley, Leonard and Arthur Lee had 2 other siblings: Francis Walter (my grandfather) and Ernest - killed in WW1 1917. Their parents were John Charles Thomas Lee (b1863) and Agnes Eliza Hone (b1863).

These people will round out my knowledge of my family, well dads side anyway.

Thanks to all in advance.

Chris Lee

It would probably be a good idea to get some more details. Dates of birth and middle initials can help.

http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl

For instance, if you search for a marriage between Arthur C Lee and Gladys, there are three choices. If you search for births with each combo of surnames -- I started with Lee, mother Read (marriage 1917 Rochford), and struck it lucky right off.

Kathleen C Lee, Rochford, 1922.

Unfortunately there are several Kathleen C Lee marriages 1938-1955, say, and none in that vicinity. (For those dates, the index at Ancestry needs to be searched, since FreeBMD is not yet complete.)

If you do the same for the other names -- get the full names with middle initial and the year of birth at FreeBMD for all of these people -- it would be a lot easier for people with Ancestry access to do subsequent searches, including in the 1984-2005 transcribed deaths index for people likely to be deceased.
