My grandmother's maiden name is LEE. Born circa 1910 and had at least 2 siblings. Gran's name was Ena Louise, brother Leonard Kitchener and younger brother Charles. Ena married Dick Savage and had 3 children and after being widowed in 1966 went on to marry a 'Walder'. Len (or Kitch as he was better known) married Amelia Halford (Millie) and had 3 children. Sadly Millie died while the children were very young and they were put into care as Len was unable to look after them. Charlie had special needs and my Granndmother looked after him until he died. Their mother was Sarah Lee (i was apparantly named after her but the 'h' was dropped) but i don't know what her husband's name was or her maiden name.Guessing her dob to be circa 1885? This family are known to be from the croydon area. If anyone has these names in their tree then please get in touch. Thanks. |
