I am trying to find further details of :- Robert Lee, b. c.1790 in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. - he married Sophia Howlett on 24 Dec. 1815 and they had a son:- Walter Lee, born 2 March 1822 in St Mary Bury St Edmunds. Walter moved to Redmile in the Vale of Belvoir (Leicestershire) He married Eliza Bailey daughter of Thomas and Mary Bailey of Redmile. Walter and Eliza had a daughter Ruth (my g.grandmother) who married William Stevenson in Basford, Nottingham. Their son was George William Stevenson (my g.father). If anyone can find further details of Robert and Sophia Howlett I would be most grateful - I have come to a halt and would love to find further details. Thank you - Angela Edwards |
