It seems that my grandfather changed his name. The family appear in the census for 1901 with the Surname BARNETT:

Reginald's birth was recorded in the Parish record: Reginald Levi Barnett. 23 SEP 1893 Christening: 08 OCT 1893 St Barnabas, Lambeth, Surrey, England. However, he and all his siblings are registered as having the surname 'LEVI' not 'BARNETT' and Barnett is registered as a middle name for Ernest (1898 Jan+, Camberwell) and Reginald (1893 Oct+, Lambeth). The name 'Levi' does not feature in any later records for Reginald as either a middle or a surname. The above children are all born in Lambeth and Camberwell.

I wonder if anyone has this family or any connections to this family in their records? It would be great to find some descendents.

I had the first two bits of info and had wondered whether that was my Joseph with the 'Lavis' family.
Your final find is a real gem though (I didn't find that one). I think you could have cracked it! :D

I've ordered some more certs (Reginalds birth and the marriage cert you noted), so hope that will help.

Thanks for advice Mrs B :) Have found all children in reg books under 'Levi'; That's what confirmed the name change theory. Couldn't find Joseph though, who is recorded, as born in Newington in the 1901 census, but am going to double check (may have got a bit boggle eyed).
Quite right always have reg details before buying certs ;)
