James Lewis 1886 Can our American friends help?

Hello Everyone.

This is a long shot, but if anyone can shine some light on this subject I would be very greatful.

If anyone has the time can you please look up this chap.

James Lewis.

He was born 1886, and moved to USA around the turn of the century. I have looked at passenger lists, but there are many entries and not a lot of detail.

James Lewis was the son of John Lewis and Elizabeth Lewis. (nee Davies) Abergwilly, Carmarthen. South West Wales.

His trail runs cold after he was born. Someone in the past noted that he went west, and thats it.

Well dates of birth were known but this is as good as it gets officially so to speak.

There are quite a few references to James Lewis in Ancestry's Immigration records but you need Worldwide membership to access them. Perhaps you could nudge this thread up later when the American members come on line?
