I would be grateful for any help please. I'm looking for information on Sarah Florence Lewis (my grandmother) born on 21 November 1898. I have been looking for her in the 1901 census, which was apparently conducted on 31 March/01 April 1901. This would have made her 1 year and 4 months. All I can find on the census for 1901 is Florence Lewis aged 2. Her parents were Thomas Lewis (1853-1898) and Sarah Headen (1859-1917). |

Ages are notoriously approximate on censuses. |

Thanks Michael. Yes, she was born in Birkenhead, sorry for not mentioning that bit. It makes life so difficult when a lot of the official records don't match up. |
