We are trying to trace the history of my fathers family and would be grateful if anyone can help. My father was Robert James Lewis born 23rd August 1921 at Lower Coronation St. Tredegar, Mon, Sth Wales. His parents were John Anthony Lewis and Mary Jane Trevenen. John Anthony is listed as being a rail-breaker at steelworks, we think he was also a steeplejack. We think their children were Richard, Ronald, Robert, Alfred, Naomi, Joyce and Elizabeth. We think Richard married Rose and they had a son named Roland and possibly lived in Weston-super-Mare. Joyce was bought up by Dr. Barnados and had two daughters (possibly Joyce and Maureen) Naomi we think married William Hill and had two daughters Mary and Eileen Joyce. We think Elizabeth died in childhood. |
