ANNIE LEWIS died 1916 Crowton Cheshire son Harry present. Annie married Thomas LEWIS in 1897 at the Parish Church Norley, Thomas was a house painter/journeyman. They had no children?but I am hoping to find any descendants of Thomas Lewis who could help me. Annie had 4 children with William GARNER of Norley and was calling herself Annie GARNER from 1881 census when she was already pregnant with the first of the 4 children. She recorded herself as Annie GARNER previously JACQUES on all 4 of her childrens certificates. She said she was born in Quinton, Birmingham, varying date of birth from 1850 to 1855. From her birth to age 30 I can find no information. I think she could have been a bigamist? Anyone outthere offer further advice. As I am a computer novice if anyone knows of any other sites I could leave a message or go searching I'd be really grateful. I think she could have been a servant and worked in a big house in Cheshire? Thanks everyone Sandra Bird |
