Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 24 Send Message	Looking for info abt my great uncle. Capt ROBERT JAMES LEWIS b 1874 in Dublin Castle. He was brought up in England and Scotland and had a distinguished career in the Hussars before emigrating to Australia where he married GERTRUDE, another Scottish immigrant, and was commissioned in the Australian Imperial Forces. He was killed in action in 1916 in Belgium without ever seeing his only child, MAGGIE. His parents were Henry Lewis b 1843 Great Walsingham, Norfolk, and Maggie Paterson Ballantyne b 1848 Hamilton, Scotland.
