Hello , my father was Wilfred Charles Lewis 1905 from Taunton, Somerset Uk, he died when I was young , so therefpre I dony hve very much family information. My grandfather was Frederick Charles lewis 1879 < Taunton. he married Alice Rose Chritchard 1883 from Norton fitz warren her father opereated the Postoffice. My great grandfather was George Lewis 1855or6 who married Mary-jane Cornish, mery-Janes father Charles Cornish owned the Brick and Tile company Taunton , Bishops Hull . George Lewis was the manager there for many years , this is where I am lost ,Georges father was John Lewis that is all I know . My father came out to Australia in 1938, I was born in 1952. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My father was married in UK to Ivy Marshall which ended in divorce. Thank You Margret |
