Member Since: August 2005 Posts: 1 Send Message	John Lewis b. 17/02/1857 in Llechryd, Cardiganshire, Wales married Elizabeth Evans b.c1862 in Newport, Pembrokeshire, Wales on 22/01/1880. They had 8 children: David b.c1880 in Newport, Pembrokeshire. I think he lived with his Grandparents, John and Mary Evans as he dosen't appear with his family in any census returns. Mary Blanche b. c1882 in Newport. Benjamin (William) b.c1885 in Penarth, Glamorgan. Arthur (George) b.c1888 in Barry, Glamorgan. Sarah (Ann) b.c1889 in Grappenhall, Cheshire. Elizabeth Jane b.c1890 in Grappenhall, Cheshire. Maude Rosina b.c1891 in Grappenhall, Cheshire. Josuha Ernest b. 03/04/1894 in Warrington, Cheshire. He was my Grandfather. On the 1901 census, with the exception of David, they were all living in Harbour Street, Barry, Glamorgan. Although John's occupations have ranged from a Master Brickmaker to a Forman Carpenter, his occupation then was that of a Tea Dealer working for himself. I would be happy with any information.
