Trying to find Lewis

Henry Lewis (believed born in Scotland ca 1828) and his wife Elizabeth (nee Walker) had 7 children from 1869 to ca 1882. The oldest child was Elizabeth Annie Lewis and she was my adopted mother's mother. Elizabeth Annie married Percy Rockliff in 1890. I have not been able to find where either Henry Lewis or Elizabeth Walker were born nor when or where they were married. It is thought that Henry Lewis may have died in Shoreditch ca 1884. I do know that Henry and Elizabeth's daughter Christina Gibb Lewis was married in Hackney in 1905 (information from Free BMD). Any information about them would be so much appreciated as I hate to have gaps in my family tree!! Who doesn't? Margaret Elvis, Perth Western Australia |
