I am trying to trace the family of Thomas Henry Lewis born April 1910 (probably in Dublin) Mother Maggie Simmons aged 20 years from Ireland. Thomas' father was a welshman also called Thomas Lewis. Thomas and Maggie entered a Salvation Army rescue home in Belfast in November 1910 from there Thomas was taken into foster care with Mrs Pinkerton 7,Coolfire Street, Belfast. Thomas had a half brother Bernard Macnaughton Simmons who had been taked into a Dr Barnardos home in 1910 as Maggie could no longer look after two small babies. I am trying to find out what happened to Maggie after this and wonder if any curret relatives of Thomas Lewis might be able to help. Thanks |
