My name is Clifford Lewis and I am trying to find any information on my father Clifford Samuel Lewis who was of West Indian heritage. All I have is a name and address on my Birth Certificate the address is Kirkby Fields Hostel, Kirkby Nr. Liverpool.and he worked in Kirkby as an electrical engineer on government Contracts during WW2. I was born in 1943 and understand he was involved in my life until I was about 3years old when he broke contact with my mother. I have been told he went back to the West Indies possibly Jamaica or Trinidad but have no proof of this. I was also told he had relatives in London who were doctors and was a friend of Lord Learie Constantine the cricketer but again I have no proof. I realise that while it is probably to late to make conntact with him I would like to know if I have any step brothers or sisters out there. Any information or help to assist me trace any descendants will be appreciated Thanks Cliff.
