Member Since: November 2004 Posts: 3 Send Message	Challenge for someone out there to find Mary's maiden name for me please: I would really love it if someone would be able to look up the parish records for my ancestor, Edward James Lewis who was born 27 May 1816 and was Christened 30 JUN 1816 Saint Botolph Without Aldersgate, London, England His parents were John Lewis and a Mary. There was also another son, Owen Edward Lewis born 23 Nov. 1813 and was Christened 05 JUN 1814 Saint Botolph Without Aldersgate, London, England. A daughter, Frances was born 17 mar 1821 and Christened 27 May 1821 at Kings Weight House Fish Street Hill Independent, London. UK According to the 1841 census the family, John 65, Mary 55, Frances 20, Edward 25 and his wife Hannah 24 were living at Browns Building, Middlesex, St Andrew Undershaft with St Mary Axe 1841 census; John Lewis 65. Labourer. Not born in County. Mary Lewis 55. Born in County Edward Lewis 25. Labourer. Yes Hannah Lewis 24, Yes Francis Lewis 20. Yes 1851 Census Derbyshire Street, Middlesex, Bethnal Green, Sub Reg Dist of Church. Edward Lewis Head Mar 54. Labourer. Aldersgate Hannah Lewis Wife. Mar 53. City John Lewis Son 7. Scholar.
