Hi my name is Lorraine my father is David Lucas, we are trying to trace my great grandfather, as far as we know he was born William John Lucas in lecicester 1869/1870 his mother was Eliza Lucas also from Lecicster not sure who his father was. He is down on the 1901 census living in Havitree Devon with my Great Grandmother Carry Lucas nee (Townsend) with their three children John, Robert my Grandfather and Beatrice. We know they left England for India as he was a driver in the royal feild artillary. Caroline Lucas died in Lahore India 1902, from there the children where adopted and we do not know what happend to him we would appritiate any help or info as my greatgrandfather seems to have disapeared kind regards Lorraine |
