My grandfather, WALTER CYRIL Mansell(born 1887, Burslem, Staffs) was one of 13 children of GEORGE Mansell and SARAH DIXON. His siblings were THOMAS (1861 born West Bromwich), JANE (1863, West Brom), SARAH ANN (1865, West Brom), ELISABETH (1867, West Brom), GEORGE (1869, West Brom), HANNAH (1872, Burslem), JAMES (1873, Burslem), JOSEPH (1874, Burslem), REBECCA (1876, Burslem), SAMUEL THOMAS (1879, Burslem), DAISY MAUD (1880, Burslem) and ISAAC(1882, Burslem). GEORGE senior (born 1840, Tipton, Staffs) was one of 10 children of THOMAS and JANE. His siblings were ELISABETH (1836, Bilston), THOMAS (1841, Tipton), ANN (1843), LUKE (1845, Tipton), JANE (1848, West Brom), JAMES (1850, West Brom), SARAH (1854, West Brom), JOSEPH(1856, West Brom) and RUTH (1858, West Brom). THOMAS was born in Ketley Bank, Shropshire around 1812. I have a few candidates for his parents! I thinks JANE's maiden name was Emery, but this is open to question. If you recognise anyone please get in contact. I'd love to hear from you. Sandra White (nee Mansell)
