I am looking for any information on the family of ILENE RUBY MARTIN who was born in Maidstone Kent area, parents were CECIL LEONARD MARTIN and DOROTHY RING, === DOROTY'S parents were HENRY RING and MARYANNE OR MARY ANN BRAE,== CECIL'S parents were ALFRED MARTIN and KATE surname unknown, === ALFRED'S father was JOHN,
ILENE married ERNEST EDWARD WILLIAM HAWKES also from MAIDSTONE area, I am trying to find my husband DAVID"S family history, he came to Australia in 1949 with his parents Ilene and Ernest Hawkes, and sister Ondrea, if anyone has any information I would like to hear from you, any help would be greatly appreciated, ELIZABETH

Hi, I am trying to trace Martins from the Maidstne area, my grandmother,, Mary was born in Loose, 1880, she had a sister Alice. Her father was John Martin 1851, his father, William, born 1828 who married Elizabeth Walter. Do you think there is a link?

The 1891 cesus of your family does list an "Alfred" who could be the same 'Alfred' as in Elizabeths tree, who married Kate, but ...????
