1901 Census - Robert Stanley Martin 1896

Can anybody find in the 1901 census and entry for Robert S Martin - have gone crosseyed looking.

What I do know about him

Birth ref: 1896 Apr - June St. Olave Southwark (1837-1901), 1d 303 - Robert Stanley Martin - 01/06/1896
Marriage ref:
Mayle Grace M Sep 1923 Greenwich 1d 2055
Martin Robert S Sep 1923 Greenwich 1d 2055

Think I have been looking for the wrong person
Found a more likely birth

Have you purchased the birth certificate? What are his parents' details??

Hi.
Do you have the marriage certificate. This will give the Fathers name.
also the birth certificate would give you both parents.

I think I have found them on the 1901 census but you need the parentsd names to be sure. They had an odd way of listing the children.

Horseleydown. London. (this is in the St Olave area)
William. 41. 1860. Born Suffolk. Dock Labourer
Elizabeth 40. 1861 Born London
William C 14. Born London.
E A 12 1889 Born London
S H 8 1893 Born London
E B or E G 6 1895 Born London
R 3 1898 Born London.

I have looked on the Ancestry and found that all but E G were boys.

I think the following are their births but they need checking.

William. Shown only as Male child. 1886 Oct/Dec Qtr. reg in St Olave
Edwin Albert 1889 July/Sept. Qtr. Sty Olave
S H. Male Child. 1894 Jan/March Qtr. St Olav.e.
E B or I think E G. Ethgel Grace. 1895 April./June Qtr. St Olav.e.
R. you have already got.

You need to start with the birth certificate for Robert Stanley.

I haven't purchased the birth certs because it is an enquiry from a branch on my tree who is just starting out on the tree venture - he married a great uncle's sister.

Have updated my original request with a more likely birth which wasn't there when I first looked up the family - recent update

Martin Robert Stanley Jul - Sep 1896 Greenwich 1d 1038

However the same problem. Thought I would at least find him on the 1901 census living in Greenwich as he now seems to have been born & married there. Plus all the 3 children were as well - last born 1927.

I've made the recommendation to the lady to buy the certs but she is on a very limited income so thought I would see what I could find out for her from all the friendly ladies who help out in the forum.
