can anyone help me research my family on my nanas side. Her mother was MARY JANE MARTIN born in heighnton co durham 1894 she died on 04/01/1973, she married RUSSELL THOMAS WEBB born in 1884 in county durham and died on 11/09/1959. They had 8 children whom i have the details for, but i would really love to extend my tree by going back alot further. brothers, sisters, parents and grandparents would be great. thanx

Hi Julie
Sounds a abit obvious but hsve you tried 1881 - 1891 censuc should see her pre marriage and also married Censusonline is a good place to start
