Trying to find Martin

I'm trying to find out anything about the Martin side of my family tree. My Grandad was John Martin b 1919 in middlesbrough (york) who married Grace Gadd. All we know from his birth certificate was his dad was called James Martin and his Mum was Mary Evans.We know from tapes that were left that John made, that he had 3 older brothers and 1 older sister. They lived on a caravan site and one of the brothers died from phnemonea in his teenage years. We also believe the dad James died while the children were relitively young. We believe the sister was called Ellen nick name nelly (she may have been murdered) and the brother names were joe & Jim?.I can't find Mary or William on the 1901 cesus know nothing at all about the family. Please if this rings a bell with anyone and they have any information please contact me thanks Kristy martin |
