Hi I'm trying to find any info on my paternal grandmother. Born Mabel Kate Martin 3.9.1901 in Northampton (Wellingbrough i think). She married a Thomas Sydney Elderkin sometime around 1920. They had three children - Brian, Maureen Adele and Joan Olive. I seem to be able to go back years on my granddad's side but can't find anything about my nan. I think that both families were from the area and my nan lived in Rushden when she died in about 2000. They all went to Canada in about 1947 for a couple of years. I'm told she had a sister Elsie who married a "Furnell" and they had a son Maurice Paul (I think). Any help would be greatly appeciated. Thanks |
