Looking for information concerning Collett and Collett-Mason, and simply Mason family. My definite data is William Wallis Mason married Mary Ann Wilson Broadhurst 22.09.1844 Manchester Cathedral, Offspring:
Fanny Maria 1845 Elizabeth 1846
William Wallis 1848 Thomas 1849 JAMES COLLETT 1853.

Cannot find any Census data for this family. 1881 record shows a William/Elizabeth combination, occupation Hatter.

I believe the parents for William Wallis Mason might be a James Mason, who married Sarah Poole (have seen portrait of her in family).....and then parents of James, another William Wallis Mason who married (1) Mary Collett (2) Elizabeth.

This is an intermarriage of families, I think.....James Collett Mason 1853, married Jessie Collett in Argentina 1887 and their Gt.Gt Grandparents were brother and sister, but.....if Mary Collett 1746 died without children, but after marriage, then the existing line does not descend from the Collett line.

Any help from any 'Masons', for the part between 1746 and William W.M who married Miss Broadhurst 1844 would be appreciated.
