ALBERT MITCHELL BOILERMAKER OF EAST LONDON

Desperately seeking any information regarding my elusive Great Grandfather Albert Mitchell. The only information that I have is that some time around July-October 1915 when my Grandfather Thomas Gascoigne was born, Albert Mitchell was a BoilerMaker living 35 Fords Park Road Canning Town, West Ham Essex/ East London. Albert Mitchell is shown on my Grandads' birth record from the Forest Gate Sick Home, West Ham as being his biological Father.
Can anyone please provide any further information if they think that know who Albert was- he was possibly born in New Cross South East London c. 1880 as I've found on 1901 Census an Albert Mitchell who was then 17 yrs old and an Apprentice BoilerMaker.
Very grateful thanks to anyone taking the time and trouble to help me out with any info that they may have.
Kind regards
Nik

Dear Jane,

Many thanks for your reply which I've only just discovered when I began the research into Alber Mitchell again.

I would be very grateful if you could check with your family to see if they can recall your Albert Mitchell having been a BoilerMaker and whether he ever lived in Fords Park Road, Canning Town circa 1915.

Many thanks for any help that you can give as it would be great to find out about my Great Grandad.

Very kindest regards Nikki
