I am trying to find information regarding my uncle John Mitchell who was born in 1931 in Brooklyn New York.His mothers name was Selina Gilmour and his fathers name was Eric Mitchell.John also had a sister Heather also born in America and a brother Louis who was born in Scotland.I know that they moved back to Scotland before 1947 and that John joined the royal navy but apart from that I know nothing more.Any information would be great.

Thank you for the information,The first entry for John travelling to America is with his mum.I have that information.I am trying to find information on his life after he arrived back in Scotland as he and my father lost touch.Sorry it took a while to reply to your post.
