Hi am looking for Stephen Moore and Kevin Moore born between 1945..1955 ? as far as i know there parents names were Robert ( Bobby ) and Betty. Grand mother could have been
Dorothy or Dolly nee Cave . Stephen lives in Australia i think his brother stayed in England in the services ? I have found bits and peices none fit any help would be wonderfull Thankyou from Trac

Looks like it could be father Bobby's birth:

Name: Robert C Moore
Mother's Maiden Surname: Cave
Date of Registration: Jan Feb Mar 1919
Registration district: Cambridge
Registration county: Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire, Huntingtonshire, Northhamptonshire
Volume Number: 3b
Page Number: 538


Actually, this looks like the marriage to go with, although the woman's name isn't what you suggested:

Marriages Sep 1917
Cave May W Moore Cambridge 3b 906
Moore Robert Cave Cambridge 3b 906


There are three other Moore-Cave births after that, in Blofield, Norwich and Eastbourne - but there's a Moore-Cave marriage in Norwich in 1921, so the two Norfolk births at least are likely not the same family.


There are unfortunately way too many Robert C Moore marriages in the early 1940s to do a quick check against births for matching wife's/mother's surname. (There are a good couple of dozen Kevin Moore births 1945-1955, e.g.)

Do you have any idea of locations in England for the marriage / births?

Hey Janey thankyou for your reply the other information i have is places like Brentwood and London Essex Illford and Brighton some of the family were born in West Ham. Bobby worked on the Strathedden as a perser? he also worked in a pub As for Stephen Romford comes up some where I have order the Birth cert for Bobby and also the marriage certificate this is the best info so far Also for some reason Stephens birth coule have been about 1947-1948 he is about 12 13 years older than me Thankyou again for all that information its Gold
