I'm looking for descendants of Leonard Moore, born Huntingdon in 1913. His parents were Hilda (Fensome) and William Moore b. circa 1887. Leonard had sisters Hilda (my mother) born 1917, Frances born 1919 and Kathleen born 1922. William (the father) left Huntingdon c.1924 to look for work and never returned. Hilda deserted her children not long after and they were sent to an orphanage. Frances and (possibly) Kathleen were adopted, and Hilda and Leonard were fostered (Leonard to a farmer). Hilda lost touch with Leonard when she emigrated to Africa in 1948, and I would very much like to contact any of his family. There doesn't seem to be any record of William or his family prior to his marriage to Hilda in 1911 in Huntingdon so presumably he came from elsewhere.

I expect you have by now found all this but here goes.... :-)

I have found William James Moore on 1911 census, born at Godmanchester, Hunts. He is also on 1891 and 1901 same birthplace.
William is the son of Robert John Moore and Eliza Mason who married in 1880 at Hunts (both on 1881)
Robert John (born Ramsey) is the son of James and Elizabeth E Moore
