Morris death in Motherwell

can anyone help with a death record lookup please?
sketchy info is all i have:

My grandfather's uncle 'Mac' Morris died in Motherwell, Lanarkshire sometime between 1952 and 1970. I know he lived at Forgewood Road, Motherwell and he died of TB apparently before the age of 50.

I suspect his mother's maiden name was Haynes and he was definately born in South England, possibly Kent but i'm not 100% on this!

He's my missing link to unlocking the rest of my Morris ancestors so any help i can get would be great!

Hi Linda,
I've taken a look on Scotland's People and I can't find any male Morris deaths in Motherwell for the age and time frame you give. I don't know if perhaps he died at a TB hospital somewhere else although he lived in Motherwell.
A proper christian name would help, any idea what it might be?

Hi Aileen,

sorry, i've no idea what his proper christian name was, he's my gg grandfather's son from his first marriage and no-one knows even their names (there were 6 children from his first marriage)
All i know is he was known as Mac and he lived inBellshill, Lanarkshire (near Glasgow), and he died of TB, i guess it's possible he died in another hospital in Lanarkshire.
My great aunt (mac's step-sister) told me that there were 6 children and that mac and his sister lived in Bellshill. They only met a few times many years ago. Apart from that all she told me was that each of the 6 children died before the reached their early 50's and they were all born in South East England.
Sorry for the lack of info!
