I am researching the Morris family Newcastle Emlyn. Cardigan Wales.
To date I have found,
David Morris b 1801 m to Margaret Morris,
They had 7 children.
Boys, David b 1821, Benjamin 1826, Thomas b 1832; John b 1834; Girls: Hannah b 1829; Mary b1837; Rachel b 1840.
David Morris was a mason in the Parish of Llandyfriog (info census 1841)
His son, also David Morris b 1821 was a mason.
following this family another David Morris was b 1854 I don't know which of the above children son he was. However he moved from Cardigan to Rhymney Monmouth.
David Morris b 1854, married a Mary Ann Thomas b 1856 daughter of George Thomas. They had 7 children:
Boys: David Morris b?; Ebenezer Morris b 1894;.
Girls: Margaret b 1878; Rachel b c1881; Hannah b 1886; Mary b 1890;
I know that definately David, & Mary, along with children Margaret, Mary, and Ebenezer, moved from Rhymney to Dowlais. I have no further info on the other children, whether they moved as well.
Daughter Margaret was my grandmother, she married a George Davies (I have not researched this branch)
My mother was Irlys b 1912, she married Ivor Thomas b 1905 of Merthyr Tydfil.
Any infomation on this family will be very welcome, I am now stuck.
