I am trying to find any relations of my grandfatherAlfred Morris Born 21 June1874 in the UK (Midlands I think) and who died 8 July 1945 in Hongkong during the Japanese occupation. I have a large black and white photograph of he and his family, taken in the UK and there were 5 boys and two girls in the picture as well as Mum and Dad - the photo was taken approx between 1891-96. One of his brothers was Arthur, the others unknown. Alfred married Lily Elliott and they lived in Wales for a time, sailing for Hongkong about 1903/4 to join the education department. They had 2 children, Alan, killed in WW1 and Dorothy, my mother. Any info about my Grandfather - his whereabout of birth, marriage etc. would be much appreciated. Looking forward to someone having any info about this family. Regards, Rita |
