My great grandmother was Maud Isabella Nicholas. She married Robert Alexander Clayton in 1883. She was known as Bella on the certificate. She had two children, my grandmother and her brother and then died very suddenly at the age of 30 from a Stroke. Her first husband drowned in the Thames in 1887 and she may have married again to a Frederick Crook. Her death certificate shows her surname as Crook. She lived in the London mainly St Pancras,Holborn.
