can anyone help with my search for Henry, his parents went to live in New Zealand and he was born in Auckland, his mother (Mary Goodwin born 1823 in Derbyshire) died and his father Brian returned to Yorkshire with young Henry, cannot trace him after his father died in the late 1890's, he may have returned to New Zealand, any help you can give would be very much appreciated. |

Hi again folks, yes we have the right fella, I knew he was in the 3 census' results but then he just disappeared, cant find him in 1901, looked to see if he married but he just seems to have gone. Family rumours say he went back to New Zealand, but nothing firm and dont seem to be able to access any bmd in New Zealand unfortunately. Many thanks again, Jean |

Jean.....the 'National Library of NZ' (Auckland) has an 'Ask a Librarian' service (on-line)......they will check their records including electoral rolls and newspaper death notices. .Valerie (WAus) |
