Find Ancestors

Please can anyone help. I am trying to find William Henry Nicholson b.1850 in Sheffield, he is a confectioner and baker. His wife is Mary and they have 9 children in 1901 - Florence, Elizabeth, Edith, George William, Thomas Henry, John Frederick, Mary, Gertrude and Albert., although they may not all be living at home, at least one of the boys is married. In 1891 census they were living Forge Lane, Ecclesall, Sheffield and in 1911 they were living 14 South Lane, Sheffield. In 1911 they also had a granddaughter living with them called Carrie Nicholson born in the 1st qtr of 1901 but cannot find her in 1901 either.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for that but it's 1901 I can't find them in. I have all the other census records etc.

Carrie Nicholson: I took it as the entry for Carie Nicholson born 1st qtr 1901 for Ecclesall Bierlow, since this is the registration district for all the census records etc.

I think you must be right Ginny. I only have access to findmypast census and was hoping (just a little bit) it may have just been missed off their site but looks as though it's missing off Genes as well - oh well, you win some and you lose some, thanks everyone for your help.

Certainly not found any of them - even looked at some with different surnames that seemed a good match until you realised the children did not match

Yes, I've even just put first name and birth year and nothing! I've put a post on Sheffield Indexers to see if anyone can find them but to date no-one has come back to me, there's only ancestry to look on now!
