RITA NICHOLSON - moved to CANADA in 1970s/80s. From YORK. Hi, I am trying to find my grandma, Rita Nicholson (Nicholson is her maiden name and I don't know what her surname is now). She was born in April 1924 in York. Rita had my mother, Carole in December 1942 and then when my mother was 3 years old she was adopted. I have found that a Rita Nicholson born in York had parents, Amy Maud Nicholson (nee. Love) and William Henry Nicholson. I would like to find out my mothers real father and also a brother called Graeme who was also adopted. I have tracked down names of the Love's side and I would be interested in information about Arthur Wilberforce Love who died in June 1991 aged 93, in York. Any information is great. Thanks, Lucy |
