Hi I was born Carole Jane Nicholson and I am working on the Nicholson side of my family.

I have come unstuck with my Gt Gt Grandfather John or Anthony Nicholson born about 1856/1857 in Chelsea but spent most of his life in Plymouth. He married Caroline Thomas (name of Anthony Nicholson on marriage certificate) and they had 6 children, Walter Edward (my Gt Grandfather), May, Florence, John, Caroline and Daisy.
Censes have him as John Nicholson living with his wife Caroline.
Does anyone have any connections with this Nicholson family?
I have hit a brick wall because of the different first names.
