Member Since: September 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am researching the NICHOLSON family of WESTMORLAND and later PRESTON, Lancashire. I have got as far back as James (born c1841 Yelland) and his wife Mary Ann (born c1840 Kendal). Their son, William (born Preston 1863) married Mary Ellen Leyland (born Ashhton under Lyne 1863) in 1884. They had 5 children and I have a photo (c. 1905) of them outside 266 Plungington Road Preston where son Joe had a cycle repair shop. If anyone has any connections with this family I'd be grateful; if they'd get in touch.
