Find Ancestors

Im looking for any imformation on my grandad and his family...
Enoch parker was born on the 23rd august 1895,he also had a sister called florence beatrice.. enoch was born at 117, old park lane, high park, southport. and we do know that florence lived at 99 bispham road, high park, southport. at some stage.
There mum was called mary parker and she wasnt married so we have no knowledge of enoch and florences father.
My grandad died on the 23rd january 1974.
would be grateful for any help in finding out any imformation out as although I have been a member of this site since my brother died two years ago I have only used it on a few occasions and really dont know what I should be doing... (thats to explain the comment made about the membership no.)

The order the family is placed in this census would suggest that Mary (aged 33) is the daughter of Mary (aged 74) and the sister of the Head of Household and that the two children listed below her are actually her children and the neice and nephew of the head of household.

The only way to be sure on Enoch's mother is, as has already been suggested, to buy a copy of his birth certificate.

I have entered the address of where my grandad was born and as you can see high park is in southport.

you mentioned a Marion Parker - do you know when she was born? I found this baptism on lan-opc

pity I did not see this thread earlier as I could have done the extra lookup while I had the register out doing your other family (Hulm) look up this afternoon. Can look for Enoch next time I go if you wish
