Hi I am looking for any one who is a relative of the Parker family living in Downham, Lancashire around 1855 ish or has traced their family tree to this period. In particular I am looking for Alice Parker who was born here around 1866, she had either an uncle or brother called William who lived on Spring Farm and was a widow. He lived their with his sister Mary and daughter Annie. Alice Parker went on to marry Parker Spence who was born in Bentham, York and died at the age of 45. They had a son James Parker Spence born on 2nd Feb around 1891 who went on to marry Ethel Davis. They had three children, Parker, Tom (my grandad) and Alice. I would be pleased to hear if anyone has any information. |
